Information

We're setting up The Cascadia Peace Development Fund so that anyone can get information on practical peacebuilding. Some of the types of information we're considering are:

  • Free e -mail subscription newsletters.
  • Our own Resource Center, which is now in its initial phase of development.
  • An annual "International Peacebuilding Development Conference," showcasing best practices, success stories, new developments, current research, and special exhibits.
  • E-learning programs to build peacebuilding competency and skills.
  • Audio productions featuring talks by noted peacebuilders, researchers, beneficiaries of peacebuilding programs and materials, and others. Some can be made available via podcasts.
  • Video products, including DVDs and streaming video on the web. Many of these can made available through existing online video outlets such as You Tube.
  • Other resources leveraging current technology to make information easily and quickly available.
